Jerome Hill is an American basketball player who played college ball at Gardner-Webb University before going on to play for the Milwaukee organization and then internationally. He brings over 13 years of experience to the team, along with his passion for the game, and his commitment to mentoring and training youth.
The Rome Retreat
We've got our eyes set on 30 acres in Madison County, Florida. Our vision for the property includes a training and tournament area with multiple courts, a small indoor arena, team cabins, and private cabins where players can retreat in a peaceful, natural environment. We've earmarked areas to allow for future growth and envision teams and youth from all over the state coming to train and have fun!
Reaching At-Risk Youth
Battlefront Basketball is about so much more than basketball; it is about reaching at-risk youth. Youth in rural communities face higher rates of poverty, fatherlessness, and are more likely to engage in drug use and criminal activity. Sports programs and camps are typically located in urban areas, but ours will be right in the heart of rural north Florida. We don't want any kids to miss out, so proceeds from cabin rentals, leagues, and tournaments will not only help fund operations but will also be utilized to provide sponsorships to youth who need financial assistance to participate.
